Traveling from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng and Vientiane for 6 days

Day 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang

Upon arrival in Luang Prabang Airport , you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in and rest.

Day 2: Pak Ou Caves & Kuang Si Waterfalls

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, we will leave from the hotel at 08:30.

Whisky Village
A unique little village on the banks of the Mekong River. Ban Xang Hai, is also known as whisky village, is famous for their handicraft products like distilling and selling whisky, hand woven fabric and jewelry.

Pak Ou Caves
The caves are revered throughout Laos and a very popular place for tourists and pilgrimsalike. There are some 4000 statyes abd statyettes in the caves, mostly of the Buddha, many stukk covered with paper thin gilding. The first cave is reached by a steep staircase from the river’s edge, while the second cave is a little deeper inside the mountain.

Kuang Si Falls
There is a three levelled waterfall about 29 kilometres (18 mi) south of Luang Prabang. Upon reaching falls, relax and enjoy the magnificent natural surroundings. The water tumbles down and cascades gently into several cool, clear pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. The adventurous may walk to the top of the falls via a steep track where stunning views are awaiting them. Kuang Si Waterfalls also is a place where a rescue center for protecting sunbears, the endangered species, is located.

Hmong Heritage Culture Center
On the way back from the waterfall, we visit a Hmong village. We walk through the village and stop at a small museum built by the villagers. We learn from the villagers dressed in traditional costumes about their original highland life.

Arrive at the hotel around 6pm and you can enjpy eating or shopping at Night Market.

Day 3: Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng

Around 05:30 – 06:30 AM: Alms Giving Ceremony
*Please observe the ritual quietly, and offer a respectful tribute only if it holds personal meaning for you.

After breakfast, we will visit Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most important Lao monasteries. It remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty, and traditional art.

Take a Laos-China Railway to Vang Vieng. (Duration: Approx. 1 hour)

After arriving at the hotel, please feel free to relax at your leisure, explore the town, and enjoy your free time.

Day 4: Vang Vieng to Vientiane

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, we will leave from the hotel at 09:00.

Embark on a day of adventure and discover the iconic sights near Vang Vieng, a vibrant Lao hotspot beloved by thrillseekers.

  • Kayak through Nam Song River, which stretches from Vang Vieng all the way to Vientiane!
  • Visit Tham Nam Cave and learn about its important role during the second Indochina war
  • Experience tubing through Tham Nam cave and marvel at the numerous stalactites inside the cave
  • Cap off the day with a relaxing swim in the cool waters of the Blue Lagoon

After Dinner, we will take a Laos-China Railway to Vientiane . (Duration: Approx. 1 hour)

Day 5: Free and Easy Day in Vientiane

Today free and leisure, you may join an optional tour of Vientiane: Cultural Tour with Buddha Park, Patuxai (Victory Gate) and Pha That Luang.

After breakfast, spend the free at leisure till departure transfer to Wattay International Airport for your flight back to home or next destination.
