Day 1: Bandar Seri Begawan to National Park

  • 1200hrs: Hotel Pick-up
    Meet and greet from your hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan city center. Begin your journey through Brunei’s stunning landscape.
  • Temburong Bridge Journey
    Drive across the impressive Temburong Bridge, the longest in Southeast Asia at 30 km. This marvel of engineering offers breathtaking views of Brunei’s coastal waters and lush mangrove forests, giving you a scenic introduction to the natural beauty of the region.
  • Transfer to National Park via Longboat (Temuai)
    Arrive at Batang Duri, a small riverside village, where you’ll board a traditional longboat known as a “Temuai”. Enjoy a thrilling river journey as you glide through calm waters, surrounded by dense rainforests.
  • Welcome at Lodge
    Upon arrival at the lodge in Ulu Temburong National Park, you’ll be greeted by a local guide and served refreshing welcome drinks. A briefing will follow to outline your exciting adventure for the day.
  • Nature Activities
    Experience the park’s natural wonders:

    • Swimming at waterfalls: Cool off in the crystal-clear waters of natural jungle pools.
    • Fish Spa: Submerge your feet in river pools and enjoy a natural spa as small fish nibble on dead skin.
    • Nature Walk: A guided stroll through the rainforest where you’ll learn about the unique flora and fauna.
  • Dinner
    Indulge in a delicious dinner prepared at the lodge, offering local flavors in a serene rainforest setting.
  • Night Forest Walk
    As night falls, embark on a nocturnal wildlife walk. Equipped with torches, you’ll seek out the vibrant frogs, fireflies, and other nocturnal creatures that inhabit the dark rainforest.

Day 2: National Park to Bandar Seri Begawan

  • Early Morning Longboat Ride
    Wake up early to board a longboat and head deeper into the National Park at dawn. As the sun rises, witness the spectacular view of the rainforest canopy.
  • Ulu Temburong National Park – Canopy Walkway
    Upon arrival, begin trekking to the Canopy Walkway, a towering structure that allows you to walk above the rainforest canopy. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the lush jungle landscape and catch glimpses of wildlife.
  • Rubber Tubing Adventure
    After descending from the Canopy Walkway, hop onto rubber tubes and float downstream on the gentle currents of the Temburong River. This relaxing activity offers a fun way to take in the scenery as you glide past the thick vegetation.
  • Late Breakfast and Leisure Time
    After tubing, enjoy a hearty breakfast back at the lodge. You’ll have free time to swim in the river or simply unwind while soaking in the sounds of nature.
  • Lunch
    A leisurely lunch will be served before your departure, allowing you to savor your last moments in the park.
  • Return to Bandar Seri Begawan
    After lunch, transfer back to Batang Duri by longboat, and then continue the overland journey by road back to Bandar Seri Begawan. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure.
