Day 1: Arrival in Langkawi

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you will proceed to the domestic departure hall for your connecting flight to Langkawi.

Upon arrival at Langkawi Airport, a driver will meet the group and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at leisure to relax or explore Langkawi at one’s own pace.

Day 2: Langkawi Island Hopping

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a full day of adventure with the 5-in-1 Island Hopping Tour, which also includes a BBQ lunch.

The tour highlights the natural beauty and surrounding islands of Langkawi, perfect for a day of sun, sand, and sea.

In the late afternoon, you will return to the hotel to freshen up and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Langkawi to Penang

After breakfast, the morning is free for shopping and exploring Langkawi until the afternoon.

Later, you will transfer to Langkawi Airport for your flight to Penang.

Upon arrival at Penang Airport, a driver will meet you and take you to the hotel for check-in.  The rest of the evening is free to enjoy at leisure.

Day 4: Exploring Penang

After breakfast, the day begins with a visit to Penang Hill, with entrance tickets included.

In the afternoon, you will be picked up and taken on a city tour, visiting key attractions such as:

  • Kek Lok Si Temple – One of Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist temples, famed for its majestic pagoda, ornate shrines, and a towering statue of the Goddess of Mercy, offering panoramic views over Penang.
  • Armenian Street – A lively cultural lane in George Town, known for its charming shophouses, bustling cafés, and world-renowned street art that brings Penang’s heritage to life.
  • Clan Jetties – A historic waterfront settlement built on stilts, where wooden walkways and century-old houses reflect the living heritage of Penang’s Chinese clans.

 

After sightseeing, you return to the hotel for leisure time and an overnight stay in Penang.

Day 5: Penang to Kuala Lumpur

Following breakfast, you will have time for shopping at Chowrasta Market until the afternoon.

Later, you will transfer to Penang Airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur.

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, a driver will greet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

The evening is free at leisure.

Day 6: Genting Highlands Excursion

After breakfast, you will join a shared tour to Genting Highlands, a renowned mountain resort known for its cool climate, casinos, theme parks, and scenic views.

After an enjoyable day, you return to Kuala Lumpur and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 7: Historical Malacca Tour

After breakfast, the journey continues with a full-day shared tour to the historic city of Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will explore centuries-old landmarks, colonial architecture, and vibrant cultural streets.

After the tour, you return to Kuala Lumpur and enjoy a free evening, and the overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 8: Fireflies and Kuala Selangor

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the morning and early afternoon free at leisure.

Later, you will join the shared Firefly and Kuala Selangor Tour, which includes dinner.

Proceed to Kuala Selangor town with one of the largest firefly colonies in the world. On arrival at Kuala Selangor, visit “Kota Melawati” a historic hill that features the remains of a late 18th century fortress. Formerly known as “Fort Altingsburg”, the top hill provides a scenic view of the Selangor coastline as its backdrop, and Straits of Malacca can be seen on a clear day.

Next, proceed to the quiet hamlet of Kampung Kuantan, the highlight of the tour. Go upstream in a boat in the quiet darkness to witness the blinking trees. This scintillating display of fireflies portrays an image of a flashing Christmas tree. The synchronized, rhythmic flashing is produced by thousands of fireflies found in the mangrove swamp of Kampung Kuantan. The skilled local oarsmen make this experience a memorable and unforgettable one.

After the tour, you return to Kuala Lumpur for an overnight stay. Lunch is on your own arrangement.

Day 9: Elephant Sanctuary

After breakfast, the morning is free at leisure until the afternoon.

You will then embark on a shared Elephant Sanctuary Tour, where you will learn about elephant conservation efforts and experience close encounters with these gentle giants.

The journey takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Our first stop is the Aborigine Settlement. Kuala Gandah Elephant conservation was established in 1989 by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks. The center is a base for the Elephant Relocation Team, which began the elephant translocation programme in 1974. The only one of its kind in Malaysia, the team is dedicated to locate, subdue and then translocate problem elephants from areas where their habitats are constantly being encroached by plantations and to other suitable habitats throughout the Peninsular such as Taman Negara.

After returning to the city, the evening is free for personal exploration. Dinner is on your own arrangement, and you will stay overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 10: Kuala Lumpur Grand Tour

You will join the Kuala Lumpur Grand Tour, covering major highlights of the capital city including its iconic landmarks, cultural attractions, and modern developments. 

  • Petronas Twin Towers (Photostop) – Capture the perfect photo at Malaysia’s most iconic landmark, the world’s tallest twin towers symbolizing Kuala Lumpur’s modern skyline.
  • Chocolate Boutique – Indulge in Malaysia’s sweetest treats with a wide range of locally inspired and unique chocolate creations.
  • Local Batik and Handicraft Centre – Discover Malaysia’s artistry through vibrant batik designs and traditional handicrafts, perfect as cultural keepsakes.
  • Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka) – A historic landmark where Malaysia’s independence was declared, surrounded by colonial-era buildings and a soaring flagpole.
  • Sultan Abdul Samad Building – Admire this Moorish-style architectural gem, once the administrative center of British Malaya, and now an enduring city icon.
  • Spotted Dog ‘Tudor Styled Cricket Club’ – Glimpse colonial-era leisure life at this charming Tudor-style building, a reminder of Malaysia’s British heritage.
  • King’s Palace (Istana Negara) – View the majestic royal residence of the King of Malaysia, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds.

  • Batu Caves – Climb the colorful steps to this famous Hindu temple, set within a dramatic limestone cave and guarded by a towering golden Lord Murugan statue.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for their onward flight.
