Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be met by tour guide at the airport who then will transfer you to the hotel for checking in.
Early in the morning after breakfast, depart from hotel, and drive about one hour south of Bangkok to Samut Songkhram followed by the first stop of the day at MaeKlong Railway Market and witness the incredible speed of the vendors as they quickly pack their stalls right before 08:30 a.m. when the train approaches. After that, visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and stroll around the floating marketplace bustling with boats and vendors selling delicious delights.
After lunch, return to Bangkok and proceed to visit Wat Pho also known as The Reclining Buddha temple because the temple complex houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, including a 46 meters long reclining Buddha. Before having lunch we will visit The Grand Palace where there is also the Temple of Emerald Buddha inside the palace complex. From there, the trip continues to Chao Phraya where you’ll embark on a ferry ride across the river to visit Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn). Late in the evening you’ll be taken to a pier where you will check-in for a dinner cruise onboard the Chao Phraya Princess Cruise. Spend the night on the cruise enjoying a variety of Thai, and International Cuisine with live entertainment along the Chao Phraya River. After dinner, return to the hotel and take a rest for the next day’s program.
Leaving Bangkok for Ayutthaya which takes approximately 1 hour drive. Once arrived we will visit Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya, a historical temple which is highlighted by the famous head of Buddha image embedded in the roots of a Banyan Tree inside the temple complex.
The trip continues by visiting Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, a historical monastery which was built in the Ayutthaya Kingdom era in the 1357 AD. Next is visiting Wat Phra Si Sanphet, which is the largest temple in the city. The three main chedis contain the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings.
After lunch transfer to the hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.
Continue the trip from Ayutthaya to Kanchanaburi which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival in Kanchanaburi we will stop at the historical Bridge Over the River Kwai as well as visiting ‘Don Rak’ War Cemetery.
Next is visiting Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum which is a historical site and part of the Death Railway that was constructed during World War II by the POW labor. After lunch transfer to the hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.
Tonight’s dinner will be served at the resort.
After check-out you will be transferred back to your hotel in Bangkok, and the rest of the day is free at leisure.
Picked up from the hotel and transferred to Bangkok airport to end the tour.
